Valeria & Krist // Wedding on Sicily
Absolutely! While my portfolio focuses on my documentary and artistic style, I also capture the classic, must-have wedding photos—including traditional portraits, family shots, and everything in between. Many of these don’t make it into my online galleries simply because I showcase the images that best represent my signature style.
If you have specific requests or a particular aesthetic in mind, I’d love to hear about it! I’m always up for new creative challenges. Whether it’s a wedding photography trend like the “Old Money” editorial style with direct flash or a personal idea you’ve envisioned for years, I’ll work with you to make it happen.
After booking, I’ll ask if you have a mood board or reference images from other photographers. Once I review them alongside your wedding location, we’ll schedule a call to discuss what’s possible, how to incorporate your vision seamlessly, and when we’ll capture those special moments. Even if a certain style isn’t typically my approach, I enjoy broadening my perspective while keeping everything true to my storytelling philosophy.
We’ll start with a video call to make sure we’re the right fit and align on your vision. I’ll guide you through the planning process, helping structure the timeline so you enjoy your day without spending too much time away from guests. A month before your wedding, I’ll send a detailed questionnaire covering key details like locations, important relationships, must-have shots, and potential family sensitivities. Before the big day, we’ll have another video call to finalize everything, and then we usually meet in person for the first time just before the wedding—where we’ll say, “Finally! So great to meet you in real life!”
Hiring an experienced Italy destination wedding photographer means working with someone who understands the nuances of international weddings and speaks fluent English to avoid miscommunication. I know how to capture the romance of Tuscany, the elegance of Lake Como, and the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast in a way that tells your unique love story.
I’d love to say yes to every destination! The farthest I’ve traveled for a wedding is Australia, and now Thailand is becoming my winter base. However, most of my weddings take place in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and Austria. That said, I have a wish list of dream destinations and would happily travel anywhere to capture your love story.
I’m based in Ljubljana, Slovenia—but rarely staying put. Whether capturing weddings worldwide, hopping on flights, or exploring nature in my van, I’m always chasing new adventures.
Most couples usually book me 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May-October). If your wedding is sooner, reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate!
Haha, yes! I’m extremely focused on getting the best shots, but I always work with a smile. Couples and guests always tell me they love my energy. Being fun and approachable helps people relax and be themselves in front of the camera—essential for creating spontaneous, memorable wedding photos.
Yes, I offer high-quality wedding albums so you can relive your Italy destination wedding for years to come. These tangible memories are crafted with the same attention to detail as your wedding photos.
My destination wedding packages include travel costs for all locations, so you don’t have to worry about extra fees. I take care of my own flights, transportation, and accommodation, making everything seamless for you.
