Who I Am
I’ve been photographing weddings professionally for over 14 years. Along the way, I’ve learned that photography isn’t about perfection. It’s about feeling, presence, and moments you return to again and again.
Before photography, I studied civil engineering and later began a master’s in mechanical engineering. Those years taught me discipline, problem-solving, and a strong sense of structure. What consistently drew my attention, though, were people, emotion, and story.
That curiosity eventually led me into wedding photography full time. Along the way, I also studied wedding planning. I wanted to understand weddings from every angle, not only how they look, but how they feel, how they unfold, and what makes them meaningful for you.
WHERE THE LIFE HAS TAKEN ME
I love to travel, to learn, and to explore. I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings around the world, from Australia to India and across much of Europe. Along the way, I’ve collected experiences that go beyond the lens.
In Vietnam, I bought a motorbike, traveled the country for a month, and sold the bike for more than I paid. In an old campervan that I restored myself during the quieter seasons, I’ve road-tripped through Greece, Turkey, Spain, and beyond. These journeys remind me that life is about stories, not just destinations
My work often brings me into unfamiliar places and conditions, from historic villas to open landscapes and remote locations. Over time, this has shaped a way of working that values awareness over force, and clarity over control.
I pay attention to what the moment needs. Sometimes that means stepping back completely. Other times it means offering clear, simple direction. This balance helps couples feel confident and supported, without ever feeling rushed or managed.
PERSPECTIVE
Wedding photography is not about collecting moments. It is about awareness, timing, and understanding emotional rhythm. Knowing when to guide and when to step back is essential. When couples feel confident and present, the images gain depth and honesty that cannot be forced.
Experience
I have photographed more than 300 weddings across over 15 countries and three continents. From large, multi day Indian weddings with hundreds of guests to intimate elopements high in the Dolomites, I am comfortable moving between cultures, scales, and rhythms. This range allows me to adapt quickly and stay grounded, whatever the day brings.
Approach
I work with intention rather than invisibility. Sometimes that means quietly observing. Other times it means offering gentle direction at exactly the right moment. The goal is always the same: to deliver the images that feel natural, beyond ordinary, and true to how the day was experienced.
Where I Am Based
I live between Slovenia and Italy, but my work takes me wherever meaningful stories are waiting to be told. Tuscany holds a special place for me for its light, its landscapes, and the atmosphere it creates around weddings. Travel is already part of how I work, so logistics are handled seamlessly and never something couples need to think about.
