Valladolid Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

Valladolid pairs a genuinely historic city-centre hotel with real alternatives just outside it, a spa hotel built on a medieval convent, and a wine estate deep in the Ribera del Duero. This page looks at Valladolid specifically, separate from the Spain country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the city and the countryside around it, a reception inside a monastery’s cloister, a ceremony on a vineyard estate, portraits along the Pisuerga river or among the vines. Below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in Valladolid
Valladolid covers both ends of the scale well, from an intimate ceremony inside a historic monastery’s cloister to a 300-guest reception on a Ribera del Duero wine estate.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in Valladolid: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in Valladolid as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues in Valladolid
A monastery-turned-hotel minutes from the city, a spa hotel built on a medieval convent, and a vineyard estate in the Ribera del Duero.

AC Hotel Palacio Santa Ana
A five-star hotel occupying part of the 18th-century Monasterio de los Jerónimos in Arroyo de la Encomienda, a few minutes outside Valladolid. Its cloister sits under a large dome, and its gardens run down to the Pisuerga river, where a riverside landing is used for outdoor ceremonies.
Castilla Termal Olmedo
A spa hotel built on the ruins of the 12th-century convent of Sancti Spíritus in Olmedo, about 40 minutes from Valladolid. The original Mudéjar-style building is paired with two modern wings, with five halls for events and 82 rooms for guests.
Finca Dehesa de los Canónigos
A historic wine estate in Pesquera de Duero, in the Ribera del Duero, surrounded by its own vineyards. Capacity runs from 100 guests up to 300.
Your Valladolid Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a Valladolid wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is AC Hotel Palacio Santa Ana actually in Valladolid or outside it?
It’s in Arroyo de la Encomienda, a few minutes’ drive from the city, inside part of the former Monasterio de los Jerónimos.
How far is Castilla Termal Olmedo from Valladolid?
About 40 minutes by car, close enough for a day trip but far enough to feel like its own destination, especially with the convent-era building it occupies.
What’s the real capacity at Finca Dehesa de los Canónigos?
Between 100 and 300 guests depending on the layout, with the vineyards around it used for portraits either way.
What’s the best time of year for a Valladolid wedding?
Late spring and September are the easiest months, avoiding both the region’s cold winters and its dry, hot summer peak.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Valladolid has its own small airport with limited routes, so many international guests connect through Madrid, about two hours away by road or under an hour by train.
