Sibenik Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

Sibenik sits on Dalmatia’s coast between Split and Zadar, a smaller city with a genuine advantage over its bigger neighbors: a resort that runs an actual dedicated wedding program rather than general event space. This page looks at Sibenik specifically, separate from the Croatia country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the area, below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in Sibenik
Sibenik suits a couple who wants a resort to handle the logistics without the scale of a big hotel wedding, Amadria Park’s two venue styles both lean toward a focused, well-organized celebration rather than a sprawling one.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in Sibenik: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in Sibenik as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues at Sibenik
A resort’s own wedding program, split between sea-facing restaurant spaces and a stone-built village, plus a UNESCO cathedral for portraits.

Restaurant Trattoria, Amadria Park
Part of the Amadria Park resort’s dedicated wedding program, with several sea-facing spaces, rooftop views, and a more rustic indoor atmosphere for a welcome dinner or smaller reception. No fixed capacity is published, so I’d confirm numbers directly for your group.
Dalmatian Ethno Village, Amadria Park
The resort’s outdoor, village-style venue, built with stone houses, vineyard courtyards, and artisan kitchens, often the preferred choice for a full wedding celebration at Amadria Park. Couples booking either Amadria Park venue get complimentary accommodation on the wedding night and a spa morning after, though the resort doesn’t hold weddings in July or August.
St James Cathedral
Portrait-only, though a genuinely remarkable backdrop: a UNESCO World Heritage site built almost entirely from stone between the 15th and 16th centuries, with no wooden scaffolding used in its construction, in Sibenik’s old town.
Your Sibenik Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a Sibenik wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this page different from your Croatia page?
The Croatia page on this site covers the country broadly. This page looks specifically at Sibenik, a Dalmatian city built around a UNESCO-listed cathedral and a dedicated resort wedding program at Amadria Park.
What’s the best time of year for a Sibenik wedding?
May, June, and September give warm Adriatic weather without the resort’s own busiest stretch, Amadria Park doesn’t hold weddings in July or August at all, so those two months are off the table regardless of your own preference.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Split Airport is the practical choice, about an hour’s drive south, since Sibenik has no international airport of its own. Zadar Airport, roughly 45 minutes north, is the other reasonable option depending on where most of your guests are flying from.
What are the actual wedding venues at Amadria Park like?
Amadria Park runs two distinct styles: Restaurant Trattoria, with sea-facing indoor and rooftop spaces suited to a smaller reception, and the Dalmatian Ethno Village, an outdoor, village-style setting with stone houses and vineyard courtyards. Neither publishes a fixed guest capacity, so I’d confirm numbers directly, but both come with complimentary accommodation for the couple on the wedding night and a spa morning after.
Do we need a wedding planner in Sibenik?
Not necessarily if you book through Amadria Park, since their wedding program already includes coordination and preferred rates at nearby hotels for guests. An independent planner is more useful if you want a ceremony at St James Cathedral or elsewhere in the old town.
