Majorca Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

Majorca pairs a clifftop fortress hotel with a countryside castle estate inland and a boutique hotel tucked into the artists’ village of Deíà, three very different settings on one island. This page looks at Majorca specifically, separate from the Spain country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the island, a sunset reception on a fortress terrace above the Bay of Palma, a ceremony in a 325-acre countryside estate, portraits in the hills around Deíà. Below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in Majorca
Majorca covers both ends of the scale well, from a small clifftop elopement at Cap Rocat to a full wedding across Castell Son Claret’s 325-acre estate.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in Majorca: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in Majorca as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues in Majorca
A cliffside fortress, a historic castle estate, and a boutique hotel in the hills above Deíà.

Cap Rocat
A former 19th-century military fortress built into the cliffs above the Bay of Palma, converted into a five-star hotel. Ceremonies happen in its gardens, with a rooftop terrace kept for sunset receptions overlooking the water.
Castell Son Claret
A former castle on roughly 325 acres of countryside near Es Capdellà, in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana. It’s now a five-star hotel with its own banquet halls and gardens for ceremonies.
La Residencia
A Belmond hotel set across about 30 acres of gardens in Deíà, the small artists’ village on Majorca’s northwest coast. Formal receptions take place in its banquet halls, with the village and mountains as backdrop.
Your Majorca Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a Majorca wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Cap Rocat’s cliffside terrace exposed to the wind for a ceremony?
It can be breezy given the clifftop setting above the Bay of Palma, so an evening ceremony timed around sunset tends to work better than full midday sun. Worth discussing timing directly with the venue.
How far is Castell Son Claret from Palma airport?
It’s inland, in the foothills near Es Capdellà, roughly 30 to 40 minutes’ drive from the airport depending on traffic around Palma.
Does La Residencia work for a wedding, or is it mainly a hotel?
It operates as a Belmond hotel first, so formal use of its gardens and halls for a wedding is arranged directly with the property, usually alongside a stay for the couple and guests.
What’s the best time of year for a Majorca wedding?
Late spring and early autumn avoid the hottest, busiest weeks of summer while keeping the island green, which suits both coastal and countryside venues.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is the only real option and sits close enough to the city that transfer times to any of these three venues stay reasonable.
