Murcia Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

Murcia pairs a historic mansion in the city with a vast Santomera estate built for big numbers and a spa hotel down in Lorca, a real range of scale within under an hour’s drive. This page looks at Murcia specifically, separate from the Spain country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the region, a reception inside a historic city mansion, a ceremony on a 100,000-square-metre estate, portraits around Lorca’s countryside. Below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in Murcia
Murcia covers both ends of the scale well, from a 90-guest wedding inside a historic mansion to a 1,000-guest reception under El Casón de la Vega’s retractable roof.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in Murcia: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in Murcia as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues in Murcia
A city-centre mansion, a Santomera estate built for big numbers, and a spa hotel down in Lorca.

El Estudio de Ana
A historic mansion in Murcia city with three distinct spaces under one roof: the mansion itself for up to 90 guests, a glass-walled hall for up to 375, and an outdoor area for up to 300 more.
El Casón de la Vega
An estate of over 100,000 square metres in Santomera, about 30 minutes outside the city off the A7. Five traditional halls can be joined into one, and the contemporary Salón Monteagudo, a 2,100-square-metre space with a retractable roof, holds up to 1,000 on its own. The gardens run to 43,000 square metres, with a lake.
Hotel Jardines de Amaltea
A spa hotel in Lorca, around an hour south of Murcia city, with its own gardens and wedding packages that include accommodation for the couple and guests.
Your Murcia Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a Murcia wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the real difference between El Estudio de Ana’s three spaces?
The mansion itself suits a smaller, more traditional wedding, the glass hall handles a mid-sized guest list, and the outdoor space is built for a livelier, later-night reception. Worth deciding the mood first, then picking the space.
Is El Casón de la Vega’s retractable roof actually usable in bad weather?
Yes, that’s the point of Salón Monteagudo, it covers when needed and opens when it isn’t, which matters given Murcia’s hot, mostly dry but occasionally stormy summers.
Is Lorca too far from Murcia city for guests?
It’s about an hour’s drive, close enough for a day trip but far enough that most couples book accommodation at Hotel Jardines de Amaltea itself rather than asking guests to commute.
What’s the best time of year for a Murcia wedding?
Spring and autumn avoid the region’s intense summer heat, especially for an outdoor ceremony at El Casón de la Vega’s gardens.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Región de Murcia International Airport is the obvious choice for the city and Santomera; Lorca is roughly equidistant between that airport and Alicante’s.
