A Coruña Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

A Coruña pairs a beachfront city hotel with a Baroque pazo just outside town and a traditional Galician finca with its own hórreo granary, a real mix of coast and countryside in one compact area. This page looks at A Coruña specifically, separate from the Spain country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the city and its surrounds, a reception facing the sea at a beachfront hotel, a ceremony inside a 17th-century pazo’s chapel, portraits among stone granaries and Galician gardens. Below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in A Coruña
A Coruña covers both ends of the scale well, from an intimate ceremony inside Pazo de Atín’s chapel to a 300-guest reception facing the sea at Meliá María Pita.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in A Coruña: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in A Coruña as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues in A Coruña
A seafront hotel in the city, a Baroque pazo outside Arteixo, and a traditional Galician finca near the centre.

Meliá María Pita
A four-star hotel right on the beach in A Coruña, with its main reception room fully outdoors and facing the sea, holding up to 300 guests. Smaller rooms, Brigantia, Rosalía and Hércules, take up to 70 for a more intimate wedding.
Pazo de Atín
A 17th-century Baroque pazo in Arteixo, about ten minutes from A Coruña airport. Its walled gardens hold centenary camellias and a circular pond, and there’s a chapel on site for the ceremony. Capacity runs up to 80 guests.
Finca Villariza
A stone finca with a traditional Galician hórreo granary, in Pastoriza (Roo), under 15 minutes from the city centre. Gardens, a terrace and a waterfall feature run alongside the main house, with banquets for 30 up to 200 guests.
Your A Coruña Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a A Coruña wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Meliá María Pita’s main hall really outdoors?
Yes, the hotel’s principal reception space is open-air and faces the sea, so it’s worth having a wet-weather backup plan in mind, as with any outdoor venue on the Galician coast.
How old is Pazo de Atín, and can you actually get married there?
The pazo dates to the 17th century and keeps its original Baroque character, including a chapel used for ceremonies. It’s a genuine, bookable wedding venue, not a museum piece.
What does Finca Villariza’s hórreo add to photos?
It’s a traditional Galician granary built on stone pillars, a detail that’s specific to this region and gives portraits here a sense of place beyond generic garden shots.
What’s the weather like for an A Coruña wedding?
Galicia is wetter and cooler than most of Spain, even in summer, so late spring through early autumn is the safer window, and most venues here plan for rain regardless of season.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
A Coruña Airport is the closest, about ten minutes from Pazo de Atín and well under half an hour from the city centre and Meliá María Pita.
