Their primary responsibility is to support the Maid of Honor and assist the bride in various tasks. Their duties include offering emotional support to the bride, helping plan and fund the bridal shower and bachelorette party, and attending all pre-wedding events such as the engagement party and rehearsal dinner. They are also expected to run errands, keep track of gifts, assist with wedding DIY projects, and purchase their own gowns and accessories. On the wedding day, bridesmaids help the bride get ready, assist with decorations, coordinate with vendors, walk down the aisle, and interact with guests. They stay until the end of the reception, helping to pack gifts and clean up.
