Many rent for full exclusive use, so your wedding is the only thing happening on the property that weekend. Below are five real venues worth researching first.
Casa Olivi, Treia
Casa Olivi is a restored luxury farmhouse capping out at 50 guests, with five ensuite bedrooms sleeping 11 people on site. The property has an infinity pool looking out over the Marche countryside and floor cooling built into the villa itself for a comfortable summer wedding indoors. Ceremonies happen a short five minute drive away, with a wet weather fallback for up to 50 guests indoors. Ancona airport is about 50 minutes away.
Casa Sant’Elia
Set on 12 acres of vineyards, olive groves, and orchards, Casa Sant’Elia takes full exclusive use for the length of your wedding, meaning nobody else is on the property while you’re there. It holds up to 100 guests for a reception, with ceremony spots that flex between a marquee, the olive grove, poolside, or directly in the vineyard rows. A private chef and the estate’s own regional wines run the food and drink, and the main house sleeps 10 across five bedrooms.
Villa Koch, Recanati
A neoclassical villa in Macerata province, Villa Koch holds anywhere from 40 to 120 guests depending on how you use its monumental park and frescoed interior rooms. A wrought iron gazebo in the grounds gives a natural ceremony point, and the scale of the property means it can flex from an intimate wedding to a genuinely large one without feeling stretched either way.
Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo, Urbino
This eco-resort estate sits around an 18th century hamlet just outside Urbino, with its own vineyard, organic farm, wellness center, and a private abbey on site for the ceremony itself. It holds up to 85 guests. The combination of a working farm and a genuine on-site chapel is unusual, and it puts you minutes from one of Italy’s best preserved Renaissance towns for engagement or day-after photos.
Castello di Monterado, Monterado
A historic castle near Ancona, Castello di Monterado holds anywhere from 30 to over 100 guests across its frescoed halls, Italian gardens, and panoramic terraces. The property requires an exclusive buyout, so you’re not sharing the castle with another event, and the mix of formal interior rooms and outdoor garden space gives real flexibility for both the ceremony and the reception.

Ancona Falconara is the region’s own airport and the most convenient option for most of these venues. Depending on your exact location and your guests’ departure city, Pescara or Rimini can also work as alternates with slightly more international routes.
Why haven’t more couples heard of Le Marche?
Mostly because Tuscany and Umbria get the international attention, and Le Marche never developed the same tourism marketing despite having a similar landscape. That’s an advantage for a wedding: better pricing, less competition for your date, and guests who feel like they’ve found somewhere real rather than a well trodden wedding circuit.
Do we need a wedding planner in Le Marche?
I’d recommend one, particularly for the civil ceremony paperwork, since the comune handling your legal documents is often a different town than the one your venue sits in. A planner who already works in the region will also know which properties genuinely require a full buyout versus which can host alongside other events.
