A palazzo built from the late 17th century onward in the historic center, its Salone Nobile approved by the city for both ceremonies and receptions. It is one of the most straightforward ways to get married in genuinely old Ravenna architecture without leaving the walkable center, a short distance from the city’s mosaic basilicas for photos before or after.
Classense Library, Ravenna
A former monastery turned historic library, with two rooms available for ceremonies, the Sala Muratori with artwork by Francesco Zaganelli, and the Sala Dantesca, its ceiling frescoed and home to a painting of the Wedding at Cana by Luca Longhi looking straight down on the room where you would say your own vows. It is a genuinely unusual setting, more literary and quiet than a typical palazzo hall, and rewards a couple who wants their ceremony somewhere with real intellectual history behind it.
Villa Roncuzzi, San Pancrazio
A 19th-century residence on the site of an early 20th-century convent, just outside Ravenna in quiet countryside, renovated into a relais with a historic park and refined interiors that keep their exposed beams alongside modern comfort. It suits a reception that wants more space and privacy than the historic center can offer, while staying close enough for a short transfer after a city ceremony.
Palazzone di Sant’Alberto, Sant’Alberto
