Rhodes Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

Rhodes is the Dodecanese’s largest island, a medieval walled Old Town facing the harbor in the north, and Lindos’s whitewashed village climbing toward its own acropolis on the opposite coast. This page looks at Rhodes specifically, separate from the Greece country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the island, a ceremony built into the Lindos rock face, a reception on a resort terrace, portraits through the Old Town’s cobbled lanes. Below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in Rhodes
Rhodes covers a genuine range, from an elopement on a rooftop balcony above Lindos to a full resort wedding for seventy guests or more.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in Rhodes: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in Rhodes as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues in Rhodes
A boutique hotel built into the Lindos rock face, a beachfront resort, a historic spa by the sea, and the medieval Old Town for portraits.

Melenos Lindos, Lindos
A 12-suite boutique hotel built directly into the rock face of the Lindos Acropolis, a two-minute walk from the beach, with handcrafted tile and limestone interiors. Ceremony spaces range from a rooftop Blue Balcony for around 25 guests to a garden space for up to 45, with a full property buyout available (stairs throughout, limited mobility access).
Lindos Royal Resort, Vlycha Bay
A beachfront resort about 4 kilometers from Lindos village, with a terrace ceremony area overlooking the Aegean. Published capacity runs up to 70 guests with no stated minimum, and elopements are explicitly welcomed.
Kallithea Springs, near Rhodes Town
A 1930s Art Deco thermal spa complex on the east coast, built around pebble-mosaic courtyards and seaside pavilions, since renovated and used for events (and once as a film location). No published guest-capacity figure, worth confirming directly.
The Street of the Knights and the Lindos Acropolis
Not bookable venues. The Street of the Knights runs through Rhodes Old Town’s UNESCO-listed medieval quarter, among the most photographed streets in the Dodecanese. The Lindos Acropolis sits 116 meters above the village, reached by a steep, uneven stone stair rather than a paved path, best visited late in the day to avoid the midday cruise-ship crowds.
Your Rhodes Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a Rhodes wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this page different from your Greece page?
The Greece page on this site covers the country broadly. This page looks specifically at Rhodes, the Dodecanese’s largest island, with a medieval Old Town and the hilltop village of Lindos rather than the Cyclades or Ionian islands covered elsewhere.
What’s the best time of year for a Rhodes wedding?
May, June, September and October give warm, reliable weather without July and August’s peak heat and crowds, when Lindos in particular fills up with cruise-ship day-trippers around midday.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Rhodes International Airport has seasonal direct flights from several European countries, mostly spring through autumn. Outside that window, or for guests from further afield, flying into Athens and connecting is the more reliable option.
Can we legally marry in Rhodes, or is it a symbolic ceremony?
Both are possible. A legal civil ceremony can be arranged through Rhodes Town Hall, held only on set days each week with apostilled documents submitted in advance, while most private venues and hotels offer a symbolic ceremony instead, with the legal paperwork handled at home.
Do we need a wedding planner in Rhodes?
Yes, I’d recommend one, especially for Old Town logistics, the Lindos Acropolis’s limited access, and navigating legal versus symbolic ceremony paperwork from abroad.
