Corfu Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

Corfu sits in the Ionian Sea rather than the Aegean, a genuinely different landscape of olive groves, cypress trees and Venetian-influenced architecture, largely spared the strong meltemi winds that shape weddings on islands further east. This page looks at Corfu specifically, separate from the Greece country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the island, a ceremony in a restored estate’s chapel, a reception on a resort terrace, portraits through Corfu Old Town’s Venetian lanes. Below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in Corfu
Corfu’s estates scale a long way, from a quiet elopement in a garden chapel to a full resort reception for several hundred guests.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in Corfu: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in Corfu as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues in Corfu
A restored Venetian estate among olive groves, a neoclassical hilltop villa, a beachfront resort, and Corfu’s Old Town for portraits.

Courti Estate, Messonghi
A restored 18th-century Venetian stone estate about 30 minutes from the airport, set among olive groves with a Byzantine chapel and bell tower in its central courtyard and a cypress-lined sea-view terrace. Capacity runs from 20 up to 500 guests; worth noting that Greek law limits a private venue like this to a symbolic, not legally binding, ceremony.
Ekaterini Estate, Gastouri
A neoclassical hilltop estate near the Achilleion Palace, restored by an art historian, with full exclusivity and an on-site garden chapel explicitly licensed for marriage. Published capacity runs up to 250 guests.
Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa, Akra Punta
A beachfront resort on the coast road between Corfu Town and Benitses, with three wedding spaces: the Vertigo Sky Bar for up to 250 for a reception, the Oribu Restaurant for up to 150, and the Oribu Garden for up to 30.
The Old Fortress and Achilleion Palace
Not bookable venues. The Old Fortress anchors Corfu’s UNESCO-listed Old Town on a rocky peninsula with sea views on every side. The Achilleion Palace, Empress Elisabeth of Austria’s 1890 retreat near Gastouri, is a striking backdrop but a state-run museum rather than a wedding venue.
Your Corfu Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a Corfu wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this page different from your Greece page?
The Greece page on this site covers the country broadly. This page looks specifically at Corfu, an Ionian Sea island with a genuinely different landscape and climate from the Aegean islands and the mainland covered elsewhere.
What’s the best time of year for a Corfu wedding?
May, June and September give warm, reliable weather without peak summer’s heat and crowds. Being in the Ionian Sea, Corfu is also largely spared the strong meltemi wind that affects Aegean islands like Mykonos in summer.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Corfu’s airport has seasonal direct flights from several European countries, mostly April through October. Outside that window, guests will likely need to connect through Athens.
Can we legally marry at a private estate like Courti or Ekaterini?
It depends on the venue. Ekaterini Estate is explicitly licensed for marriage, while Courti Estate’s ceremonies are symbolic rather than legally binding under Greek law. I’d confirm the legal status directly with whichever venue you choose.
Do we need a wedding planner in Corfu?
Yes, I’d recommend one, particularly for legal paperwork and for an estate wedding with full exclusivity, where a planner who already knows the property saves real coordination time.
