Mykonos Wedding Photographer
with a Documentary and Editorial Style

Mykonos is the Cyclades’ most cosmopolitan island, a hillside of resorts and beach clubs above turquoise coves, with Mykonos Town’s whitewashed lanes, windmills and Little Venice balconies built right over the sea. This page looks at Mykonos specifically, separate from the Greece country page elsewhere on this site, which spreads out across the whole country.
I photograph weddings across the island, a ceremony at a hillside resort’s private chapel, a reception on a beach club deck, portraits through Mykonos Town’s narrow streets. Below are the real venues worth knowing, plus the questions couples ask me most before booking a wedding here.
From Intimate Elopements to Big Weddings in Mykonos
Mykonos works well for anything from a quiet elopement to a full resort buyout, its venues range from a private chapel seating a few dozen to a full property holding several hundred.
I photograph:
– quiet, intentional elopements with just the two of you
– small weddings with close family and friends
– full wedding days with a larger guest count
– multi-day wedding celebrations, including welcome dinners and relaxed moments before or after the wedding
No matter the size or length of the celebration, my focus is always the same: real moments, strong atmosphere, and portraits that feel natural rather than posed. The scale may change, but the intention doesn’t.

Wedding Videographer in Mykonos: Photo and Hybrid Video Coverage
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding video coverage in Mykonos as part of a hybrid photo and video approach.
Video is treated as an extension of the photography, captured with the same sensitivity to light, timing, and atmosphere. The focus stays on real moments, movement, and sound, without staged scenes or intrusive production.
For weddings that benefit from an additional perspective, a dedicated videographer can also be included, always working in the same calm, unobtrusive way and fully aligned with how I photograph the day.
This approach works especially well for destination weddings, where intimacy, setting, and emotion matter more than spectacle.
The Wedding Venues in Mykonos
A hillside resort with its own chapel, a beach club at Paraga, and Mykonos Town’s windmills and Little Venice for portraits.

Kalesma Mykonos, Aleomandra
A Relais & Châteaux resort on the hillside above Ornos Bay, with a private chapel, Agios Dimitrios, seating up to 60 (20 indoors, 40 outdoors). Its Leto Villa complex holds up to 100, the Aloni Sunset Lounge up to 120, and a full property buyout up to 500 for a standing reception.
Soho Roc House, Paraga Beach
A beach club on the site of the former Nammos Village, now part of the Soho House group, which lists wedding receptions among its event types. The restaurant holds over 200 standing or 120 seated, the lower deck over 150 standing or 52 seated, and the pergola 50 standing or 26 seated.
Myconian Collection, Elia Beach
The hotel group markets Elia Beach as one of its exclusive beachfront venues for bespoke destination weddings, though it doesn’t publish a guest-capacity figure. I’d confirm numbers directly for your group size.
Little Venice and the Windmills
Not bookable venues. Little Venice is the row of balconied houses built directly over the sea in Mykonos Town’s Chora district, the Windmills (Kato Mili) sit on the hill just above it, both among the most photographed spots on the island and both genuinely crowded at sunset in peak season.
Your Mykonos Wedding Photographer
I’m Dejan, a Mykonos wedding photographer.
My focus is always the wedding itself, not performances for the camera. The photos are simply a reflection of the day: genuine, calm, and emotionally grounded.
I take my work seriously, but never myself too seriously. A relaxed atmosphere, clear communication, and quiet confidence make all the difference, especially for destination weddings.

From the moment we met Dejan, he made us feel completely at ease. He has a calm and kind presence, and captured every emotion of the day in a way that felt honest and natural. Nothing felt forced or over-posed, yet he was always in the right place at the right time. His work feels intimate and timeless, and we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this page different from your Greece page?
The Greece page on this site covers the country broadly. This page looks specifically at Mykonos, the Cyclades’ most cosmopolitan island, known for its hillside resorts, beach clubs and whitewashed town rather than a single character shared with the rest of Greece.
What’s the best time of year for a Mykonos wedding?
May, June, September and early October give calmer winds and fewer crowds than peak summer. The meltemi, the island’s seasonal wind, runs strongest from June through September and can reach Beaufort 7 or 8, strong enough to disrupt an exposed outdoor ceremony, so it’s worth planning a sheltered spot or backup.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Mykonos airport has no direct flights from North America or Australia, so those guests connect through Athens, a short domestic hop of around 40 to 50 minutes. Seasonal direct flights from several European cities run in summer.
Will the meltemi wind affect our ceremony?
It can, especially at an exposed beach or clifftop spot in July and August. I’d plan around the forecast and, where possible, have a sheltered backup location in mind so the day isn’t at the mercy of the wind.
Do we need a wedding planner in Mykonos?
Yes, I’d recommend one. Permits, vendor logistics and venues that book out well in advance make a local planner worthwhile for a couple planning from abroad.
