Castel Brando, Cison di Valmarino
A restored medieval and Renaissance fortress on a hilltop above the Vallone di Sant’Anna gorge, in the heart of the Prosecco Hills UNESCO wine landscape. Castel Brando runs several event spaces and panoramic terraces across the property, along with an on-site spa, which makes it one of the more full service options on this page for a couple who wants the whole wedding weekend handled by one venue rather than several vendors coordinating around it.
Villa Chiminelli, Castelfranco Veneto
Also known as Villa Corner Chiminelli, this historic villa sits inside Castelfranco Veneto, the walled town where the Renaissance painter Giorgione was born in the late 1400s. The comune made it one of its official civil ceremony venues back in 2019, which means a couple can hold the legal ceremony here, inside the same walls Giorgione grew up behind, rather than at a separate town hall appointment.
Villa Abbazia, Follina
A five star Relais & Chateaux hotel built beside the Abbazia di Santa Maria di Follina, a 12th century Cistercian abbey with a cloister that is still an active place of worship rather than a museum piece. Villa Abbazia sits in the Prosecco hills near Follina, and the abbey itself gives portraits here a genuine medieval backdrop that no built-for-weddings venue can really replicate.
